SEABOURN SOJOURN ARRIVES IN NELSON
TUESDAY 4TH FEBRUARY!
Nelson welcomes the Seabourn Sojourn Cruise ship on Tuesday 4th February.
Nelson Tasman Tourism have advised around 300 passengers will disembark from the Seabourn Sojourn and visit Nelson City between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday 4th February.
To facilitate an enjoyable day for these passengers, SBL is providing a free shuttle bus that will run between Nelson Port and the Nelson i-site every half hour, between 9am and 5pm. That means we can expect a regular influx of cruise ship visitors to the city throughout the day. The Seabourn Sojourn is what is classed as a ’high-end’ cruise ship and carries passengers from America, the UK and Europe.
We urge you to welcome these passengers to Nelson and if you see someone looking abit lost or in need of some local knowledge, please don’t hesitate to offer your assistance. Good feedback on a friendly visit to Nelson will help us to attract more cruise ships in the future and this is good for our local economy.
If you wish to see the Seabourn Soujourn she will be arriving in Nelson Harbour around 8am and leaving again around 6pm.
